Opis

Amazing views from the swings at 1,350 metres above sea level: The alpine-meadow swing viewing platform welcomes visitors all year around to play on cosy hanging benches and offers a fantastic view across Mönichkirchner Schwaig. The alpine-meadow swing is the final stop on the 2.7 km swing trail. With around 20 challenging and fun stations, the trail has been designed as a circular walk for the whole family.

Top tip for any time of year: Since opening, Erlebnisalm Mönichkirchen has been named the top Lower Austrian mountain railway in the country, winning the “Best Austrian Summer Mountain Railway” award. The attraction has also won several awards at the Skiarea-Sommer-Awards for ski resorts.

Accessibility for hikers

The Alpine swing viewing platform is the end point of the 2.7 km swing trail: a circular walking route for the whole family. The start point is easily reached by taking the 4-person chairlift on the Sonnenbahn cable car. From this point, the 2.7 km trail takes in around 20 adventure stations, such as the May carousel, milk-can bowling alley, alpine slide, balancing course and climbing tower. The walk takes 2 to 2.5 hours and is accompanied by the mascot Lella: The little cow will tell you a little bit about her exciting life in the alpine meadow at every station you reach.
